The House at the Golden Ring is situated in close proximity to the Týn Cathedral and Old Town Square. It is a unique Gothic-Renaissance building with preserved fragments of late Gothic wall paintings. The oldest records of the house date back to the 14th century, and it acquired its present appearance in the 2nd half of the 15th century. The house is part of the Týn Court (Ungelt), originally a fortified merchant's court, declared a cultural monument.
