PRAGUE PHOTO 2024
This year's edition of the PRAGUE PHOTO photography show will be held, as last year, in the magnificent baroque Clam-Gallas Palace in the Old Town, at the intersection of Husova and Karlova Streets. It will present nearly 140 authors, works of students and recent graduates of vocational schools and universities, individual photographers, and traditionally the show will include a daily accompanying program.
In the confrontation of contemporary photography and baroque architecture, it will be possible to see a total of 19 unique exhibitions of contemporary photography. Magdalena Bláhová, Eliška Bartek, Zara Wildmoons, Michael W. Pospíšil, Josef Hník, Jiří Primas, the Czech-Polish group under the title Foto Venus, Galerie Gambit, IndigoSpace will present their portfolios.
In addition to Czech artists, the Italian Centre of Photography from Rome will present a comprehensive collection of photographs by twenty young photographers not only from Italy but also from other European countries.
Traditionally, PRAGUE PHOTO will present an extensive section of the work of the youngest generation of photographers - students and recent graduates of professional schools (ITF - Silesian University Opava, Gymnasium and Secondary and Higher Vocational Schools Michael, College of Creative Communication, EDUSO Prague, Liberec School of Photography, U3V at VŠE Prague.
The show is traditionally accompanied by a rich accompanying program. This year it is mainly the presentation of projects from abroad (Italy, Poland and Switzerland), meetings with the authors in individual exhibitions, performances, christening of photographic publications.
